Ate a very good steak, french fries crispy until the end. I would have liked to add a sauce to the salad, but it was still tasty. I like to go back there.

Unfortunately there is no supermarket on site and I personally think that is a shame you missed a nice wine bar to have a drink in comfort. The hotel is very clean the staff friendly. The rooms are rather boring and carpets are not my thing. The breakfast was good but unfortunately we weren't asked a second time if we'd like anything else, e.g. Coffee 🤔 I missed some fruit or tomatoes ... I think that's a part of breakfast. So a bit disappointed. 😏 but the food in the restaurant was delicious ...

Today we celebrated our twentieth wedding anniversary with a delicious meal. Everything was super fresh and excellently prepared. The table was set especially for us and we were given a sparkling wine from the house in advance. The price-performance ratio is great. We felt completely at ease

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here tonight. The staff even decorated the table to match. The food was excellent. The dishes were freshly prepared and served in a very appealing way. The staff was very attentive and polite. For us it was a very nice and successful evening. We would love to come back.

Nice hotel in Altenahr. Nice starting point for a hike. Breakfast was delicious, the service was super nice and friendly. Unfortunately they were understaffed with two ladies for three rooms, should one change.

nice wine on a terrace: Rude waiter who firmly sends everyone away because the table is not disinfected. But rather quietly shuffles around as if it is Saturday! It was also Saturday and everyone wants to come and have a drink in the sun. A shame that this person here is terrorizing this so beautiful terrace. Never again, I don't want that man as a waiter anymore. fie

Staying at this hotel was just a dream! Great, cozy rooms with a wonderful view of the Ahr and the Ahrsteig. The food was exceptionally delicious, the service of the staff was super personable and very warm. I will be back and can only recommend this hotel!

We always like to go to Haus Ruland. Especially in the great beer garden. The food is always of a high standard. Unfortunately, the service can't keep up. Our waiter today was very uncoordinated, slow and inattentive. What a shame

Nice terrace located along the Ahr. Extensive menu. We had lunch there. Burgers are luxurious, made from good quality beef. Salads, generous portions. Good price quality. Staff are extremely friendly.

Visited the restaurant on a Tuesday evening and it was packed. Make sure you have a reservation. I ordered the fried trout (Forelle Müllerin Art) with fried potatoes and salad. The trout was great, but the skin was a bit burnt. Fried potatoes tasted good, but all the onions were black (pro tip: add the onions add the end). Salad was good as well. I also tried the ratatouille, which was using unusual herbs (Arabian/Indian). I liked it, but not everybody did. Also a bit too oily and salty for my taste. I also tried some of the deserts. The tiramisu consisted of apricot, yoghurt and chocolate crumble and was not really my taste and had not much to do with a classic Tiramisu. The blackberry ice cream was the star of the evening. Outstanding, tasted very homemade. Even though I heavily criticized the food, I think the place deserves 4 stars in total. The atmosphere, service and the surrounding are great.

Fine eaten. Especially the starter and main course. Cheese board was mediocre. It is a pity that when serving, they cannot name which cheeses they are. Someone was brought in but he also just said something.

We ate there in the beer garden. You sit very nicely with a view of the Ahr. The food was delicious and at a fair price. The service was great, very friendly and attentive.

It is my favorite place to be close to Bonn with a nice restaurant, with good food and good Rose wine. The area nearby is really nice for short or long walks.

Great house, friendly staff and unusually good cuisine. We recommend booking an arrangement and taking the menu. Everything, really everything tasted very good. The hotel is clean and very well kept. It's quiet in the rooms, perfect for a relaxing weekend and more.

Very decent hotel, big parking (we were allowed to use it already before check-in), spacious rooms and good food. Definitely recommend.

4 or 5 stars ...? I'm trying to keep it short. Clearly for me 5. Here you go out as a satisfied customer. (Food good for the price-performance ratio +) Since complaints were handled absolutely professionally, the 5 stars. I will gladly come again.

Cosy, comfortable, great breakfast, and the staff are awesome

Great environment and nice hotel. Maybe something in the days. But relaxed sleep and delicious food. The staff seems reserved, but is very nice. At departure there is a small souvenir. Simply recommended.

I stayed at the Ruland Hotel-Restaurant twice, so in comparing my stays I would say the second room was considerably better than the first room. The first room was very small and noisy, both because the church bells strike quarterly, but also because there was heavy construction going on. The second room was on the other side of the building and was much more spaceous with a balcony and a gorgeous view! In general, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The personnel is very good and helpful. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, though it is better to come early than late. The biergarten is lovely all day long and the restaurant provides excellent food and drink. I would definitely stay here again!

Pretty little hotel in fantastic surroundings! Take a walk in the mountains nearby, see the ruins on the hill top, and taste the amazing local wine. This place is a really a little gem in the mountains.
